Love

Attraction often arrives sideways, after competence has been proven. Aries wants heat and a clear yes. Virgo wants to relax, which may require the practical life to look handled. If Aries mocks the ritual that helps Virgo desire them, desire goes away. If Virgo only touches the relationship with corrections, Aries will look for somewhere less examined. Schedule play that is not a self-improvement project.

Friendship

Virgo will remember the detail Aries forgot. Aries will push Virgo out of a spiral and into a plan. That is a good friendship if the help is invited. Unsolicited edits and unsolicited dares both get old.

Work

This can be a strong working pair precisely because they annoy each other. Aries sets a bold target. Virgo makes it survivable. Agree that a draft is allowed to be imperfect for a named period, and that the final version has to pass Virgo's standard. Without that deal, Aries ships junk and Virgo never ships.

Where it rubs

Criticism and impatience. Virgo's sigh can land harder than Aries's shout. Aries's shrug can land harder than a direct insult, because it says the standard was never serious.

What helps

• Separate brainstorming time from editing time. Do not do both in the same hour.
• Aries should ask 'is this a note or a veto?' Virgo should answer honestly.
• Thank the other person for the part you are bad at, in front of them, not only in your head.
